A new exhibition opens in Margate tomorrow with a group of 7 artists including Alex Brattell, Cathryn Kemp, Louise Kenward, Lucinda Wells, Martin Everrett and Sinéid Codd, joined by Dawn Cole from Margate. A preview on Friday night includes a dance performance by Yumino Seki and a town crier who will be taking visitors around the town, announcing new shows opening as part of Margate's First Friday and Pushing Print's opening night, Turner Contemporary is also open till late. 'Telling Stories' forms part of the Pushing Print fringe and several participating artists are also in Pushing Print at the Pie Factory. Photography, film, objects, books, and textiles create a diverse and exciting show. Workshops and Artist Talking days run throughout the exhibition. Curated by Cathryn Kemp, 'Telling Stories: Margate' will be a touring exhibition, starting at Marine Studios Margate - running until 1st November. For more information see 'whats on' on A-N.
